Vernay, wellbeing
rooted in Nature
An ecosystem to restore
you capacity.
“Vernay” comes from the Old French word for alder tree.
a tree that heals the ground
“Vernay” comes from the Old French word for alder tree.
The alder grows where the ground has been worn thin,
where pressure has made it difficult for anything to thrive.
Its roots don’t just anchor.
They repair, restoring depleted soil so life can grow again.
This is the work we do with people.
We work with those who carry a lot: founders, leaders,
parents – the ones others rely on.
Years of responsibility. Constant decisions. Being “on” for too long.
From the outside, everything works.
Inside, something feels depleted.
Sleep doesn’t fully restore.
Energy dips.
The body rarely softens.
You’re not broken. You’re just exhausted.
Our programs can rebuild the soil beneath you,
so your clarity, steadiness and strength return naturally.
Vernay exists to help you restore what stress has quietly taken.
who we walk with
— Founders and leaders who’ve been “on” for years
— Professionals who’ve tried the usual tools, and still
feel overloaded
— People who sense cracks forming and don’t want
to wait for a collapse
Vernay is for the moment you decide you’re not willing
to burn the ground you stand on.
the people behind Vernay
— Founder
He tested it first on himself.
Then with early participants experiencing chronic stress.
Using validated stress scales, HRV data and later EEG monitoring.
He isn’t offering inspiration.
He’s offering a method that worked when he needed it most
— and now works for others.
Pierre’s path didn’t begin in retreat spaces. It began in ambulances.
Seven years as an Advanced Paramedic in Geneva meant trauma scenes, high-stakes decisions, and sustained exposure to stress most people never see.
He was competent. Reliable. Calm under pressure.
Then the cracks appeared.
PTSD symptoms he couldn’t dismiss.
Insomnia that wouldn’t resolve.
Anxiety that made his own body feel like the emergency he used to respond to.
Standard solutions didn’t reach deep enough.
Meditation apps. Generic wellness advice. Protocols built for someone else’s nervous system.
Vernay was not born from branding.
It was born from necessity.
Drawing on emergency medicine, Pierre asked a simple question:
If we treat severe pain with multimodal protocols — because no single intervention is enough — why don’t we treat stress the same way?
He built his own system.
A layered approach combining:
— Aromatherapy as targeted biochemical signalling
— Fascial work to release stored tension
— Conscious breathing to shift physiological states
— Nature immersion in the Alps
— HRV tracking to measure change rather than assume it
He tested it first on himself.
Then with early participants experiencing chronic stress.
Using validated stress scales, HRV data and later EEG monitoring.
The results were measurable — and repeatable.
Today, Pierre leads Vernay and designs nature immersion programs for Clinique La Prairie, bringing emergency-level precision to prevention.
His work intervenes long before cracks become collapse.
He combines:
— Medical thinking and multimodal protocols
— A deep relationship with alpine terrain
— A clear, direct way of working that is both exact and humane
He isn’t offering inspiration. He’s offering a method that worked when he needed it most — and now works for others.

As a photographer, she recently won the Amundsen
Sport Photo Contest (Free-Air-Life category), recognition
for her ability to translate the intangible feeling of wilderness,
movement, and presence into images that stop you mid-scroll.
That same visual intuition shapes everything she does at VERNAY.
She leads Marketing, Growth, and Brand, but her role goes deeper than titles suggest. Filipa guides how VERNAY communicates (the stories we tell), connects (the community we build), and scales (the systems that allow us to grow without losing what matters).
She also oversees operations, partnerships, and the logistics that keep VERNAY’s rhythm sustainable, because growth without foundation is just noise.
Her background spans ecosystems most people keep separate:
Fintech and health-tech growth marketing, data-driven storytelling, user experience design, brand development that converts without compromising integrity.
Co-founder of samesame, a co-living and event space where she built an ecosystem blending shared living, creative work, and intentional community. Where collaboration felt natural, not forced.
Today, she brings that same clarity to VERNAY, through her lens (literally and figuratively). Capturing the raw beauty of our expeditions. Shaping narratives that resonate with people who are tired of empty wellness promises. Turning VERNAY’s vision into lived experience for a community that’s growing because it’s real.
